Gather what you need before the change

Identify the database actually in use, prepare a checked copy and keep licence information plus the installer for your version. A desktop shortcut alone is not enough. The aim is to retain working data and what is needed to use it on the new PC.

Check restored work before retiring the old PC

After installation in a compatible Windows environment, restore the database according to your version’s procedure. Open several records and check notes, history and useful actions. Keep the previous copy until restoration is confirmed. The number of PCs used must remain within your licence’s scope.
