Prospective installs on Windows. Keep your contact database on your PC, a USB drive, a shared drive or your business server. With a local installation, it is not hosted on the publisher’s servers.
An annual licence, no cloud required
The annual price covers software use. It does not require you to hand your client database over to external hosting. Synchronising through your chosen cloud remains an option, not a condition for working locally.
Everyday privacy
You decide who accesses your devices and files. Keeping data close makes it easier to manage: you know where it lives and choose backup media. Billing details sent when purchasing are separate from your client database.
Well-managed backups and access
Local storage gives you control and calls for good habits. Protect Windows accounts, keep devices updated, back up your database regularly and check that you can restore a copy.
Prepare for independence
Export the contacts you need in other tools. Separately keep a complete database backup, the installer and your licence information. Exporting and backing up serve complementary purposes.
